About Darius
ONE MAN, MANY TALENTS
Darius is an incredible vocalist, who, at a very young age, started singing and entertaining huge audiences who love him.

His first stage performances were with the South African super star Mark Belling (founder member of ‘Mean Mr Mustard’). His role was to sing during the band's break times.
He started competing in competitions when he was only 7 years old (in 2009), his first song being ‘Harlekyn’.
Darius also achieved an A+ certificate at the schools talent competition.
He was employed as Master of ceremonies at the tender age of 16, at the Kids Rock show which was held at the old Durban airport venue in 2018. Darius also performed at every school function at Kuswag High School in Amanzimtoti, whilst he was a pupil there.
This versatile young man, has the ability to read, draw and hold the crowd, inspiring them to party all night.

Some of the competitions and highlights of his performance career
2015
SA Championships of Performing Arts: Received 3 gold and 2 silver medals & Category winner for his age group. He was just 13 years old at the time • He also performed in front of over 1000 people at the final showcase in the Rustenburg Theatre for Championships of The Performing Arts in April 2015.
Finalist of National Eisteddford, being one of only 15 finalists out of 17,000 contestants.
He represented South Africa in Los Angeles, California, USA at the World Championships of The Performing Arts in July of 2015, where he was, once again, a category winner, who received 2 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medals.
Performed at the Gold Reef City showcase for the World Championships of The Performing Arts attendees.
2016
Best Male vocalist under 15 – Centurion Kunstefees.
2017
ATKV gold certificate for acting.
2018
Semi finalist in Galleria Mall talent competition in Amanzimtoti.
2019
ATKV Silver certificate for Acting and producing and writing of a play.
2019
Culture winner at school, Best Actor at school.
2019
Head boy of Kuswag and first team rugby captain.
2020
Gold certificate for ATKV Tiener toneel competition during covid lockdown.
2021
Finalist in the NWU first year’s talent competition as solo vocalist.
